OptiCruise
MSC Cruises will reduce emissions by 15% by 2026 thanks to OptiCruise, a new tool developed in collaboration with OPTIMeasy and the University of Genoa, which optimises itinerary planning. By analysing factors such as port sequence, ship speed and operating costs, improving energy efficiency without compromising the guest experience, OptiCruise is part of MSC's strategy to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
